Cinnamon Applesauce
Ingredients
- 4 green apples peeled and chopped
- 1/2 lemon juice and zest
- 2 tbsp coconut oil (or ghee)
- cinnamon for garnish
Instructions
- Over medium heat simmer the apples, lemon juice, and oil – stirring occasionally until the apples are soft and tender – approx 10 -15 mins.
- Mash the apples (if you like it chunky) or puree in blender for smooth
- Garnish with cinnamon
