Cinnamon Applesauce

Ingredients
  

  • 4 green apples peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 lemon juice and zest
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil (or ghee)
  • cinnamon for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Over medium heat simmer the apples, lemon juice, and oil – stirring occasionally until the apples are soft and tender – approx 10 -15 mins.
  • Mash the apples (if you like it chunky) or puree in blender for smooth
  • Garnish with cinnamon
