Pulled Chicken Tacos
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs Boneless Chicken Thighs (trim fat)
- 1 lb Boneless Chicken Breast
- 1 16 oz. Jar Medium Salsa
- 1 Small Onion (Chopped)
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp cumin
- Sea Salt & Pepper (To Taste)
- 12 Organic Taco Shells (Or Endive Lettuce Leaves)
Instructions
- Combine chicken, salsa, onion, water, cumin, salt and pepper in a slow cooker and cook on low for 5 hours
- Remove the chicken, shred with fork and add back to the slow cooker to combine with the sauce
- Transfer to serving bowl
- Assemble tacos on lettuce leaves or in taco shells as desired
