Cinnamon Applesauce
  1. 4 green apples, peeled and chopped
  2. ½ lemon, juice and zest
  3. 2 tbsp coconut oil (or ghee)
  4. Cinnamon, for garnish
  1. Over medium heat simmer the apples, lemon juice, and oil – stirring occasionally until the apples are soft and tender – approx 10 -15 mins.
  2. Mash the apples (if you like it chunky) or puree in blender for smooth
  3. Garnish with cinnamon
